GRCTW EVENT SUMMARY

Mission: 
To promote the entrepreneurial environment of the Greater Richmond area by highlighting early stage businesses which have the potential to become significant contributors to the local economy.

Success: 
Nearly two dozen prior GRCTW-selected companies have gone on to raise venture capital, significant private investment or had successful sales of their businesses – after being selected.

Promotion: 
Greater Richmond Grid, fka Work Magazine will print a four page, full color insert in its Winter issue and write articles on selected companies in its January issue.

Richmond BizSense will publish the GRCTW list on its web site and print subsequent articles on the selected companies.

The Venture Forum will distribute the list to venture capital firms in Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland.

The Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce will publish the list on its web site.

The project will be promoted via e-mail campaigns to the respective mailing lists of the Venture Forum, Greater Richmond Partnership, RichTech (fka Greater Richmond Technology Council) and Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce. Greater Richmond Grid, fka Work Magazine is also sent to the Greater Richmond Partnership’s mailing list.

Attendance: 
Attendance is limited to 250. A sell-out is expected.

Pricing: 
Tickets will be $50 Venture Forum members, $75 for non-members purchased before October 1.  There will be a 20% discount for purchasing a block of five tickets.    REGISTER
